Being a bilingual mom who has always loved reading books to her kids, it's extra special
when we find one of our favorite books in Spanish. It helps with the translating. Miguel grew up reading the DOGMAN series and I remember the times we'd read it together and I'd tell him what it meant in Spanish. The only down side about translating a book verbally is that your child can't see how the words are written and that is not good if you want them to learn how to read and write in that language. So imagine how happy this momma was when the Dogman series came out in Spanish, back in 2017.
The first book in the Hombre Perro series was released on August 29, 2017.
3 years later and we are now on the 5th book - Hombre Perro: El Señor De Las Pulgas.

Valentina has not put the book down, she's loving the chance to bond with big brother who is helping with taking turns to read the book to her. That's the great thing about the Hombre Perro series, that kids who are just beginning to read will be captivated by the fun drawings and will want to read because they want to know what's going on.

She even made me clear out one of my bookshelves so she could add her Hombre Perro books, I love that she loves them but not that happy about making me take my books out - haha.
